Project Details
Upper Sani Bheri PRoR Hydropower Project is a 150MW Peaking Run off type proposed hydropower project located on Sani Bheri river developed by Pelma Hydropower Project PVT.LTD. It is located in Eastern Rukum district in Lumbini Province of Nepal. The project is understudy and different development alternatives and optimization study and site investigation is ongoing.

Development Plan
The project has been optimized and proposed to be 150 MW at Q40% considering present Prudent hydropower policy and posted rate of energy by Nepal Electricity Authority(NEA).However the company is further looking to develop the project with higher installation capacity with change in development policy. Furthermore, Green hydrogen is being explored parallelly for augmentation of surplus energy generation during wet months.
